S & P Could Cut US Credit Rating

Rating agency Standard and Poor’s has warned that it could downgrade the USA’s triple-A status if Democrats and Republicans don’t agree to raise the debt ceiling in the next few weeks. This just a day after another major credit agency, Moody’s, issued a similar warning about the US debt status. S & P say there is at least a one in two chance it’ll cut the rating in the next ninety days.
