» Pakistan Forces US Off Drone Airbase

Pakistan has ordered the US to evacuate a remote airbase in the west of the country. The Shamsi airbase has served as a hub for most of the CIA-directed drone strikes against al-Qaida and Taliban targets over the last seven years. Obama’s counter-terrorism adviser John Brennan said that the US would, however, continues to quote – “deliver precise and overwhelming force against al-Qaida” in tribal areas.
