Japan PM Wants Nuclear Free Future

Japanese Prime Minister Naoto Kan is pleading for his country to completely do away with nuclear power. He’s also stressing that Japan should focus on developing renewable energy sources. Prior to the Fukushima crisis, 30-percent of Japan’s electricity came from nuclear power. Interestingly enough the country was committed to raising that figure to over fifty percent by 2030.
